Hi, my name is Antoinette and I am a dog-obsessed Irish artist. My business is called Tails & Tales. From my home in Dublin, I create original dog art and illustrations, and dog-themed poetry and prose.

I’m going on a journey at the moment. Both professionally and personally. The combined forces of starting a business at home with young children, wanting to adopt a dog into our family and my obsessive tendency to research every minute detail of my passions, are sending me down the rabbit hole of ‘The History of the Human-Canine Bond’.

If you’re hoping to learn something from this Blog, I must warn you: I have a very unique set of skills, combining inefficiency, overanalysis and forgetfulness. So I write things down. Not so much to help me remember them. As, regardless of how many times I write them down, I will still forget them. Rather just to prove to myself that it was in fact me who was down the rabbit hole. And sometimes, just sometimes, the planets align, my head experiences a moment of clarity and I come up with a nugget of useful information. A conclusion that helps me to make a final decision.
